I am Michael Paluzzi, the solo-designer behind Yokaizo. I have been developing this game since June 2024, and continue to playtest with the Yokaizo Discord Community at the link below. I highly encourage you to join the fun.

Yokaizo is a two-player creature battler inspired by real world folklore from a broad array of cultures. In Yokaizo, each player will build a legion of 40 Yokai as a deck of cards, and use those Yokai in different zones to trigger and chain effects in battle. The game can be fast-paced or methodical depending on your play-style and how you deploy Yokai from 10 unique elements.

The plan is to print the game in the future. But for now, we are growing as a community, sharing art and matches together, and creating a world worth diving into.
